International Scholastic Journal of Science

Volume 12, Issue 1, January-December, 2018

From the Editor

Dear Readers,

We start our fourth year of the ISJOS having published papers by students from a total of seven different countries. We are proud to have been able to encourage the development of research and publishing skills of secondary students from around the world. Our first two papers in this issue are the result of a collaboration between students at International School Bangkok and Kamnoetvidya Science Academy in Rayong, Thailand. The first is an empirical look at the complex behaviors of cavity formation and collapse in a fluid, while the second looks at the force of drag on cars driving through the flooded streets that commonly occur in Bangkok.

We at ISJOS hope that the papers in our journal continue to inspire secondary students around the world to dream of publishing their own original research and making a contribution to our scientific understanding of a small corner of our world. We encourage students to submit their original, entry-level research to the ISJOS for review.
